Carl Thomas
Carl, your personable host behind the bar, began his career in the food and beverage industry at the age of 16 in his hometown of Leeds, UK. Working his way through the ranks the good old-fashioned and hard-earned way from scrubbing dishes to management responsibility at his local bar where he stayed on for several years as the manager and host.
After a six-month tour of Southeast Asia, Carl found himself in Sapa, where he spent the next seven years. First managing The Hill Station before founding his quirky and beloved burger joint, Pomelo, in the picturesque village of Ta Van.
Wine, vinyl and art are three of the concept cornerstones of Vincognito and with Carl being a wine loving, vinyl collecting graduate from Leeds college of Art and Design, we would say it is a match made in wine heaven.
